Dorsa Rabizadeh is a PhD Candidate at NTNU – Department of Energy and Process Engineering, affiliated with the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation program under the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions (HORIZON-MSCA-2022-DN-01, project no 101119726). She’s from Iran and she had a background in mechanical engineering. She holds both a B.Sc. and an M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, where she graduated as a top student, ranking first among all graduates. During her studies, she developed a strong interest in multiphase flows and how small-scale phenomena can lead to large, sometimes unexpected outcomes, an idea that continues to shape her current research on airborne particles in operating rooms. She is supervised by Professor Guangyu Cao and co-supervised by Professor Laurent Georges at NTNU.
