She\u2019s from Iran and she had a background in mechanical engineering. She holds both a B.Sc. and an M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, where she graduated as a top student, ranking first among all graduates. During her studies, she developed a strong interest in multiphase flows and how small-scale phenomena can lead to large, sometimes unexpected outcomes, an idea that continues to shape her current research on airborne particles in operating rooms.
