It shows how to obtain lower temperatures in heating systems inside existing and new buildings, as well as in existing and new heat distribution networks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Toolbox to obtain low temperatures<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Given customers have a substantial influence on a district heating system\u2019s return temperature, a simple method is described for identifying crucial customers from an operator\u2019s point of view.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In chapter 4, we go deeper into the following measures to obtain low temperatures:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Tracking malfunctioning substations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identification of unintentional circulation flows<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Addressing bottlenecks in network sections<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Successful cases of reduced temperatures<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sub-networks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cascading solutions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Heat pumps to address subsection demands<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Increased decentralized supply<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Digitalization opportunities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Design criteria for new systems<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>New innovative supply and distribution concepts<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Video from project overview<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On Tuesday 7 September 2021, from 4.30 PM to 6:00 PM there was a live event where we presented the book. The content is based on more than 250 literature references and 165 inspiration initiatives to obtain lower temperatures in buildings and heat distribution networks.
