Wage negotiations in the state sector have entered a decisive phase. All four main employee organisations – Unio, Akademikerne, LO Stat and YS Stat – broke off negotiations with the state and are now in mediation with the National Mediator (Riksmekleren).
If the parties do not reach an agreement by midnight on 28 May, the strike will take effect from Friday 29 May.
NTNU is included in the strike area notice of two of the four organisations: Unio and LO Stat. This means that only employees who are members of these organisations may be called out on strike.
